Jonah has a secret that he keeps hidden under a veil of sarcasm, jibes and humour. As he nears the end of his life he is forced to confront his demons.

When his second wife Grace hires a biographer to write Jonah’s memoirs, old war wounds and family secrets are revealed.

What is it Jonah is hiding from and can he make peace with himself before he dies? Can he reconcile with his son Michael after a lifetime of shutting out those close to him?

The Peppercorn Tree is a family drama about love, war, secrets and reconciliation.
It is warm, witty and distinctly Australian.
