Certainly, but please make an appointment first by contacting us

Bookings usually open for the following year in October, however this is subject to change. Generally, we are happy to file your booking request anytime of the year, and will be in touch with you to advise of availability once our bookings period opens.

Of course, however we will need some basic information regarding your request to ensure the quote is accurate, so it’s best to get in touch with us first.

Firstly, we always ask you to provide us with as much information as possible in your initial enquiry to help us best determine your needs and make your event a success.

Secondly, we will then send you a contract and ask you to make a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking.

Thirdly, we will then ask you to fill out a ticketing form, which once we have received back from you, will allow us to put your show on sale from a date agreed to by us.

Fourthly, leading up to your event we will ask you for your information relating to your production, to allow us to plan your event in detail; don’t worry as we’re there to help you if you’re not sure what you need to provide.

Lastly, we will be available for you to contact us in the lead up to your event in case you want to make any changes or if you need further assistance.

After your event, we will prepare an event settlement, which will include your final ticket sales and an invoice detailing the costs involved with hiring the theatre. If your ticket sales are more than the hiring costs, then we will refund the difference to you. If your ticket sales are less than the hiring costs, then we will ask you to pay the difference.

This will depend on the type of hire you request and the scale of your event. As a general rule, we are happy for you to use your own staff; however we will always employ a minimum number of our own staff as well.

We require a minimum number of staff to be present outside of business hours, which is negotiated based on the event you are holding.

Food and drinks from outside the venue are only allowed if you're in the backstage area.

We have a strict liquor licencing agreement which prohibits alcohol from being brought onto the premises by third parties. You can purchase alcohol at our bar if it's made available for your booking. Please note that our licence prevents us from serving alcohol after 11pm.

Moonee Valley City Council has strict occupational health and safety requirements that must be adhered to, so only our trained staff are able to set up the theatre or meeting room.
