Self water garden beds workshop

Did you know self watering (wicking) beds can use up to 50 per cent less water than normal gardens by holding a reservoir of water in the base of the bed that ‘wicks’ up through the soil, reducing evaporation?

Join us for a 2 hour workshop as we learn all there is to know about wicking beds. See productive wicking beds already in use on site at the Crown St Stable Café and learn how to build your own.

Through a practical demonstration, this workshop will introduce the principles involved and give you the know how to build a wicking garden system at home.
