Lawrence of Arabia

This seven time Academy Award-winning movie follows T.E Lawrence, a British military officer and writer who united and led Arab tribes during World War I to fight the Turkish.

Starring Peter O’Toole, Alec Guinness and Anthony Quinn, and directed by David Lean, this film is based off Lawrence’s published memoir.

Due to his understanding of native tribes, Lawrence is sent to Arabia to find Prince Faisal.

His mission is to serve as a contact between the Arabs and the British in their fight against the Turks.

Lawrence instead goes against his orders and abandons his post, taking off on the journey of a lifetime across the Jordan desert leading an attack on the Turkish.
