Essendon Symphony present Beautiful Melodies

23 Jun at 2.30pm

Enjoy an afternoon of beautiful melodies with your local orchestra, the Essendon Symphony.

This concert features classics such as Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 and Weber’s Clarinet Concerto No. 1 – with acclaimed soloist Lawrence Dobell. Lawrence has recently retired after 30 years as Principal Clarinet of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

You’ll also enjoy the world premiere of ‘Aerial View of the Valley’, a new work by Stuart Greenbaum, commissioned by the Essendon Symphony for this, its twenty-first anniversary year. This piece was inspired by the beautiful Moonee Valley the orchestra calls home.

This beautiful concert is not to be missed.
